Xu Yunchuan emphasized that carrying out theme education activities is of great significance, and all party members must closely connect with reality, deepen their learning, understanding, and integration. First, we need to deeply understand the significance of theme education for ideological building and theoretical strengthening of the Party; second, we need to deeply understand the significance of theme education for maintaining the progressiveness and purity of the Party; third, we need to deeply understand the significance of theme education for adhering to the people centered development thought; fourth, we need to deeply understand the significance of theme education for economic construction.
Xu Yunchuan requested that the key to carrying out theme education activities is to deeply identify the shortcomings and problems of party members and cadres themselves, formulate rectification measures, carefully examine and solve problems, and create new atmosphere, new achievements, and new situations through theme education. One is to comprehensively and specifically investigate the problems, consciously compare them with Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee, compare them with the Party Constitution and rules, compare them with the company's various management regulations and systems, compare them with advanced units, and deeply identify the gaps and deficiencies in oneself in terms of political awareness, style transformation, implementation, discipline, and setting an example.
