Under the strong support and correct leadership of the superior authorities and the governments of Weihai City and Rongcheng City, on August 25 last year, Shawu Island Central fishing Port successfully obtained the qualification of temporary opening to the outside world, becoming the first fishing port in the province to obtain the qualification. Since the approval of the qualification, the central fishing port of Shawu Island has given full play to its advantages in port infrastructure and actively attracted deep-sea fishing boats from inside and outside the province to dock and discharge, effectively meeting the demand for deep-sea fishing boats to dock and discharge, driving the coordinated development of fishing port trade, cold chain processing, ship repair, supporting services and other industries, and further thriving the fishing port economy. At the same time, we continue to improve the supporting service function of port infrastructure, actively cooperate with the competent authorities to continuously strengthen the supervision level of ocean-going fishing vessels, sailors and catches, strictly operate according to law, strengthen standardized management, pay close attention to production safety, and build a standardized, efficient, scientific and strict fishing port ecology, giving full play to the economic and social role that fishing ports and bases should play.
